Continuing
Education
Once certified it is important for teachers to realize
that they have only just begun to apply the knowledge gained in the Teacher
Certification Program. For this reason, teachers are required to complete
one continuing education course in Authentic Pilates™
per year as part of the yearly Guild renewal requirement. The Certification
process enables the teacher to begin teaching primarily with healthy clients
and in an individualized manner.. Continuing Education courses act as an
effective liaison between the teacher and Certification Centers. These classes
enable teachers to maintain a connection with the Certification Centers,
share knowledge with colleagues, gaining proficiency and an advanced knowledge
of the system.
